Oragon Convention: The U.P. HARONG Applicants’ Orientation
Description: Orientation of prospect applicants
for the 1st semester A/Y 04-05. This will be in a form of an acquaintance
party where the applicants will get the opportunity to know and
mingle with the organization’s members and alumni. Also, they will
be briefed on the history, mission and vision of U.P. Harong.

Bicol Karawat ‘05
Description: A sports fest where five provincial
organizations (in U.P.) from all over Bicol will strut their physical
and mental toughness on the hard court.

Super Harong Super Sale
Description: A fund raising activity for
the 10th year celebration. A company will be invited to be a partner
for a five day sale. Funds that will be generated will be used for
outreach programs such as medical and dental missions and low cost
housing project in partnership with other organization.

U.P. HARONG Acadfest 2005
Description: A three-day academic festival
highlighted by the 9th UP Harong Tingog nin Rason Inter-High School
Open Debate Tournament, 8th Voice of Freedom Impromptu Speech Contest,
4th Quiz Wits Competition, 3rd Sural Essay Writing Competition,
and the 2nd Dalagan Kabikolan Acadrace. Participants in these events
are high school students from the best schools in Camarines Sur.

Share-a-HARONG Christmas Outreach Program
Description: This is a donation program
where the orphaned children and those in day care centers will be
treated with different exciting goodies. Also a small Christmas
party will be organized in these centers as a means of sharing the
Christmas spirit.

HARONG Dekada: The Concert
Description: A fund raising concert for
the benefit of Habitat for Humanity Tabang Atenista’s low cost housing
project in Cam. Sur. This event will also highlight the 10th year
celebration of UP HARONG. Famous bands and celebrities, as well
as Bicol talents will be tapped for a fun and worthwhile concert.

Come Home to HARONG: Alumni Homecoming
Description: The annual alumni homecoming
and get together party. The event is in time for the Christmas vacation
when most alumni return to Bicol to share time with their family
and rekindle ages old friendships.

The TEN Mag commemorates the ten fruitful years of UP Harong as
it features the alumni and glimpses back on the 10 long and fast
years of UP Harong spent in various activities, projects and gimmicks.

U.P. Fair Booth Sales
Description: A fund raising program of
the organization to earn fund to fuel its internal activities and
other major projects. It is in oneness with the UP community in
celebrating the annual UP Fair.

2nd Harong nin Dunong Quiz (HDQ2)
Description: A one day gathering of Iskolars
ng Bayan for a friendly and interactive quiz-game contest that gives
ample emphasis on Philippine and UP cultures. It also aims to establish,
to recognize and to popularize the nature of UP Diliman as the harong
nin dunong—home of wisdom—in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia.

Medical and Dental Mission
Description: An outreach program dedicated
to the poor and the sick Bicolanos. This will be accomplished through
the cooperation of medical institutions, private medical practitioners,
socio-civic organizations, youth-organizations and barangay officials.

1st U.P. HARONG UPCAT Review Workshop
Description: A review seminar that will
be facilitated by the members of the organization which aims to
further boost the chances of UPCAT takers to pass.
All high school students of Camarines Sur are welcome to join.
