1st UP HARONG Gayon Bikolnon Poster Making Contest

Qualifications for participating schools

• Any junior or senior of any high school in Camarines Sur and Naga City
• Must adhere to the mechanics of the contest

Mechanics of the Contest:

1. The contest is open to all secondary schools in the Province of Camarines Sur and the Cities of Naga and Iriga. Each school is allowed to field at most two (2) contestants.
2. The theme of this year’s poster making contest will be "Kulturang Bikolnon: Ipadagos asin Pagyamanon."
3. A 1/2 -size illustration board (15"x 20") shall be used in making the poster.
4. Posters must incorporate creative and original artwork and ideas.
5. Posters must deliver a clear message about the theme.
6. Words can be incorporated into the poster but are not required.
7. Students may use a variety of media, such as watercolor, pen and ink, crayon, oil pastel, markers, etc.
8. The Board of Judges for this event will be composed of a UP Harong officer, a UP Harong alumnus and a representative from our co-presenter(s).
   ALL DECISIONS OF THE BOARD OF JUDGES ARE FINAL AND IRREVOCABLE. It is not subject to appeal.
9. The judges will determine the winners based on the following criteria:
   
   

   Creativity Originality Ability to communicate a clear message Relevance to the Theme	25% 25% 25% 25%
   Total	100%

   
   The Board of Judges is allowed to deliberate before announcing the winners.
10. The winners will receive the following prizes:
    
    

    Champion 1st Runner-up 2nd Runner-up

    P1000 + a trophy + certificate of recognition P600 + a medal + certificate of recognition P300 + a medal + certificate of recognition
